Privacy Policy — SetSmith PT Pro

SetSmith PT Pro ("the App") is operated by SetSmith Software ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data the App collects, why, and how you can control it. It applies to personal trainers, their clients, and gym managers using the App.

What we collect

• Account information: name and email address, provided when you create an account.
• Role and connections: whether you're a PT, client, or manager, and which PT, team, or region your account is linked to.
• Workout and session data: exercises, sets, reps, and weights you or your PT record; session dates; how sessions were rated; logged non-gym activity.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (e.g. sign-in timestamps) generated automatically by our infrastructure provider.

We do not collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or precise location data.

How we use it

• To operate the core features of the App — connecting PTs and clients, building and assigning workouts, and tracking session history.
• To let a PT see their own clients' workout history, and a manager see aggregate stats for their own team — never data outside the account relationships you've actually formed in the App.
• To generate workout suggestions using our adaptive training engine, based on your own (or your client's) logged history.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Functions) to store and process data on our behalf. Firebase is Google Cloud infrastructure and is bound by Google's own data processing terms. We do not share your data with any other third party.

Data retention

We keep your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to ask us to restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us below.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
